Can I refuse a breathalyzer test?
A breathalyzer test is a machine used to indicate how high one’s BAC level is. While breathalyzers are generally fairly accurate, they can be quite off in some situations. If you are pulled over by a police officer on suspect of driving under the influence, you may be asked to submit to a breathalyzer test. You have the right to refuse this examination, but in most cases, this refusal is considered to be admission to driving under the influence.
